萤火计划 Firefly Initiative

一、项目介绍

“萤火计划”是由《自由之声》杂志发起、英国微光传媒 Weglimmer Media UK Ltd. 支持的一项理论扶持与写作训练项目，旨在提升海外华人参与现实政治的思想能力与文本表达水平。

该计划通过一对一理论指导、写作训练与作品发布支持，帮助有志于参与海外政治运动的华人夯实基础理论素养，逐步成长为具备政治学知识、理论表达能力与现实介入意识的政治评论者。我们希望通过“萤火计划”，打破当前海外民运“低理论素养、低组织度、低文本质量、低现实参与”的长期困境，点燃思想的微光，照亮行动的道路。

二、参与条件

1. 我们欢迎持有各类政治立场、志在参与海外政治与公共事务的朋友加入。但出于理念原则，我们婉拒任何中国共产党支持者参与本计划；

2. 我们不设学历或经验门槛，但会综合考量申请者的写作潜力、思想能力与现实动机；

3. 出于安全与沟通保障，我们仅建议已定居于安全国家的朋友申请参与。

1. About the Program

The Firefly Initiative is a political education and writing support program launched by Voice of Liberation, with support from Weglimmer Media UK Ltd.It aims to enhance the theoretical foundation and critical thinking of overseas Chinese who are interested in political engagement.

Participants will receive one-on-one theoretical mentorship, writing guidance, and publication support, helping them grow into political commentators equipped with basic knowledge in political science and strong analytical and writing skills.

This initiative seeks to break the long-standing stagnation of the overseas Chinese pro-democracy movement, often characterized by low theoretical engagement, weak organization, poor textual quality, and limited real-world involvement.

Let’s light a spark in the dark — one idea, one voice at a time.

2. Who Can Apply

• We welcome applicants from all political backgrounds who are interested in participating in political and civic activities abroad.However, we do not accept supporters of the Chinese Communist Party.

• There are no formal requirements for academic qualifications or experience, but applications will be reviewed holistically based on your writing potential and political motivation.

• For safety and communication reasons, we recommend applicants currently residing in safe countries.
